The suede used in mahabis sandals is certified environmentally friendly by the Leather Working Group.

2) Signature neoprene heel - The iconic, signature neoprene heel cradle has been incorporated into the design of the sandal, providing a gentle grip that adds both comfort and support to the heel. This innovative feature adds a sense of smugness, ensuring your feet experience the epitome of comfort.

3) Rubber sole with EnergyFlow™ technology - An intelligent grid system that enables high energy return to relieve pressure on the foot. This results in extreme comfort that is sure to put a spring in your step.

Caring for your sandals

We don't recommend using any wet cleaning products on your sandals as this can mark the suede. Instead, gently clean the surface of your sandals with a damp, lint-free cloth. It is best to do this in straight motions, but in different directions, as this will help to remove any dirt without pushing it deeper into the fibres. 

The moisture from the damp cloth may temporarily darken the colour of the suede, but this should air-dry. While suede shoes aren't waterproof, a damp cloth shouldn't be enough to leave any visible marks. 

After heavy use, brushing is recommended using a suede brush. This allows the brush bristles to get deep into the suede fibres and remove any dirt or dust build-up. 

A suede protector spray could also help to give the material some water resistance and guard against stains. 

For the Precious Pearl sandals with a leather upper, we recommend cleaning with a damp, lint-free cloth or a soft-bristled brush. Don't use too much force, you're only trying to wipe away any surface dirt.

A specialist leather conditioner or cleaner can also be used to protect the leather surface from cracking and scratches.
