Creating innovative footwear with minimal environmental impact is one of our biggest goals for the future. Comfort and design are a huge part of this journey, but equally important is the impact that our product has on the planet.

Plenty of slippers are badly made, formed of synthetic fibres that wear away in a couple of months and end up in landfill. This is not only detrimental to the environment but also poor value for money for the customer.

We pride ourselves on making each pair of mahabis as perfect and eco-friendly as the next. For the last few years, we have been making some big changes as we strive towards a more sustainable future.

  • We've been reducing our carbon footprint by producing the majority of our products in Portugal
  • Introduced a recycling scheme
  • Upgraded to fully recyclable packaging
  • Partnering with Ecologi to offset our carbon footprint and planting a tree for every pair sold

We’ve been busy but we still have more to do. You can learn more about all the steps we have taken to become a more sustainable business here.
